Day - 1 : Guwahati Airport / Rly Station to Kaziranga Transfer (250KM,5.30Hrs)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station meet by our driver & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Kaziranga National Park, located in the northeastern Indian state of Assam, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich biodiversity and conservation efforts. Spanning approximately 430 square kilometers, the park is a sanctuary for the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, with the highest population of this species globally. It also shelters significant populations of elephants, tigers, wild water buffalo, and numerous bird species, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers. The park's unique landscapes include grasslands, wetlands, and dense forests, providing a diverse habitat for its diverse array of fauna. Kaziranga remains a symbol of successful wildlife preservation and ecotourism in India.

Day - 2 : Kaziranga National Park Safari(60KM)

Early morning explores any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. Mid morning at leisure. In the afternoon enjoy jeep safari through the National Park. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga. Important note: Elephant rides are all regulated and controlled by the forest Dept. Govt. of Assam. We do not have any control on the booking. Elephant ride & Jeep safari are subject to availability only

Day - 3 : Kaziranga to Shillong (280KM,8Hrs)

After breakfast proceed for Shillong (4,900 ft.), called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Shillong, often referred to as the "Scotland of the East," is a picturesque hill station located in the northeastern part of India. Nestled amidst the lush green mountains of the state of Meghalaya, Shillong captivates visitors with its breathtaking landscapes, cascading waterfalls, and serene lakes. The city exudes a unique blend of colonial charm and vibrant local culture, featuring British-era architecture, bustling markets, and traditional Khasi heritage. Known for its pleasant climate year-round, Shillong is a haven for nature lovers, adventure enthusiasts, and music aficionados, who flock to its numerous viewpoints, trekking trails, and lively music scene, making it an enchanting destination to explore.

Day - 4 : Shillong to Cherrapunjee Excursion (160 KM round trip,full day)

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see Seven Sisters Falls (also known as Nohsngithiang Falls), a cluster of seven waterfalls flowing side by side. The view of these falls amidst the lush greenery is captivating.
Late Morning:
Explore the Mawsmai Caves, which are ancient limestone caves known for their unique rock formations. It's an exciting experience to walk through these mysterious underground passages.
Lunch:Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Cherrapunji, where you can savor some authentic Khasi cuisine.
Head to the Eco Park, which offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Enjoy a leisurely walk amidst nature or relax in the serene ambiance.
Evening:
Visit the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, a peaceful and spiritual place with a lovely garden and a small museum depicting the culture and traditions of the region.Evening return back to Shilong.

Day - 5 : Shillong to Mawlynnong and Dawki Excursion

After early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon, lush greenery, and the living root bridge. Spend some time exploring the village and its unique attractions.
Depart from Mawlynnong and head to Dawki, which is about a 1-hour drive away.Dawki is renowned for its crystal-clear river, the Umngot River. Enjoy the mesmerizing views of the river and take a boat ride on its pristine waters. The boat ride will offer you breathtaking sights of the riverbed and the surrounding hills.
Leave Dawki and continue your journey towards Shilong which is around a 2.5 to 3-hour drive from Dawki.

Day - 6 : Shillong to Guwahati Sightseeing and Transfer

After breakfast check out from hotel and visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed) & Ward’s Lake. After that drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at your hotel. In evening we suggest an optional tour of Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment by own). Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day - 7 : Guwahati Local Sightseeing(50KM, Full day)

After breakfast out to visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark), Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum (Closed on Monday), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva). Evening you may take a River Cruise (Direct Payment) on the mighty River Brahmaputra and visit assam heritage centre. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day - 8 : Guwahati Hotel to Guwahati Airport / Rly Station Transfer(20KM,40 min)

After breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark). Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. Note: Temple visit will depend on your departure time. It May be done on previous day.
